Opinions

An opinion…

One always has an opinion…

A verdict, a prejudice, a dogma,

Dressed in different attires,

An opinion.

Is it a mere expression?

Or is it staunch critisism?

Etched with nudging superiority?

Or just a frivolous pastime?

Biased minds, “supercilious” kinds,

They all have an opinion.

Opinions…

So many not worth a straw,

Some so strong…

… That it’s too late to withdraw.

Even if one’s in an oblivion,

He always has an opinion.

Opinions… an outcome of presumptions,

Opinions… conceived of conflicted emotions,

Opinions… cloaked in hidden intentions,

Opinions… strangely… confessions.
